Loan modification companies have been swamped for over a year now as people do whatever they can to stay in their upside down homes. Stopping foreclosure is obviously a big deal but from what I have seen while helping out at a real estate office is the process moves at snail speed. It is not the fault of loan modification companies. They simply have so many cases to follow...
